Courses

The curriculum in chemistry exposes the student to the principal areas of modern chemistry, including organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and biochemistry. We offer many lower-division courses with varying emphasis and style to meet diverse needs across different scientific fields of study, such as the biological sciences, Earth sciences, and bioengineering/bioinformatics. For those interested in the field of chemistry, there are numerous upper-division course offerings to allow students to select those most suitable to their academic interests.

See links in the left column for specific information about our courses, including course descriptions, schedules, and course websites (if available).
