Gifts to the UCSC Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are made through the UC Santa Cruz Foundation.

HOW TO MAKE A GIFT

  • Pledges--a gift may be extended over a period of time (up to five years)
  • Outright Gifts-- these gifts can be made by check, by credit card, or wired to the UC Santa Cruz Foundation.
  • Gifts of Securities
  • Deferred Gifts (Bequests, Life Insurance, Charitable Remainder Trusts)
  • Real Estate
  • Corporate Matching Gifts

Pledging: You can make a pledge by completing the gift form and mailing it to the UC Santa Cruz Foundation Office (74 River Street, First Floor, Santa Cruz, CA 95060-4593) or faxing the completed form to (831) 459-3412 (attention to Donor Services). Please be sure to specify the payment plan that your prefer. Once your pledge has been recorded, you will receive a reminder which you can use to send in your gift.

Check: Please print out and complete the gift form and mail it, with your gift, to the UC Santa Cruz Foundation Office, 74 River Street, First Floor, Santa Cruz, CA 95060-4593. Make checks payable to the UC Santa Cruz Foundation.

Visa and Mastercard: Please print out and complete the gift form and mail it to the UC Santa Cruz Foundation Office (74 River Street, First Floor, Santa Cruz, CA 96060-4593), fax the completed form to (831) 459-3412 (attention to Donor Services), or call 1-800-933-SLUG. If you would like your gift to be directed towards the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, please be sure to indicate this when you call.

Gifts of Securities, Deferred Gifts, Real Estate and Wire Transfers: Please contact the Development Office at (831) 459-2192 for more information on the processes for these types of gifts.

Corporate Matching Gifts: Raise the value of your dollar! Matching gifts can significantly increase your donation. A matching gift from your company or your spouse's company is credited to you and can double, or in some cases triple, the size of your contribution. Contact your company's Personnel or Human Resources department to find out if your company has a Corporate Matching Gift program. If they do, ask them for the appropriate form and send the form in along with your gift. If you have any questions please contact the Development Office at (831) 459-2192.
