CHEMISTRY 291 SEMINARS

The Chemistry 291 courses are weekly research seminars in Organic Chemistry (291A), Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (291B), Inorganic Chemistry (291C), and Physical Chemistry (291D). The speakers include both local and external experts in these fields. Enrollment is restricted to graduate students but all who are interested are encouraged to attend the seminars.

Both seminars are held throughout the academic year in 240 Physical Sciences Building. Organic/Inorganic seminar series are on Mondays at 4:00 p.m. and the Biochemistry/Physical seminar series are on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Refreshments are served before the seminar.

The Chemistry 292 seminar is designed to acquaint first-year graduate students with the research of the faculty members. The series of talks are held on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. in 240 Physical Sciences Building.
