Mathematica

Description

Mathematica is installed on the computers running SunOS and Solaris, in Chemistry department, in /usr/local/bin. The version currently running is version 3.0. It is commercial software, available from Wolfram Research.
Mathematica is the fully integrated environment for technical computing. Mathematica handles numerical, algebraic, graphical and other various aspects of technical computing in a coherent and unified way.

How to Use

Run the command mathematica. If you are using X Windows, the X Windows version of matlab will come up automatically. You could also type math for the command line version. There are extensive help files available in the X-Window version.
