The X-ray Laboratory is one of the analytical facilities within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

The laboratory currently offers X-ray diffraction studies of small molecule, single crystal samples.  Advice on crystal growth, sample examination, data collection and structure solution and refinement are included in the normal services that the laboratory offers.

We are affiliated with the Service Crystallography at the Advanced Light Source (SCrALS) program at beamline 11.3.1.
